Q. How many applications can I store in my Nokia handset?

A. Nokia's mainstream mobile phones, such as the Nokia 3410, Nokia 6310i, and Nokia 7210 phones have between 120 and 150 Kb memories for storing Java applications. Since the maximum size of a downloadable Java application is restricted to 30 Kb, the phone user can have at least 4 or 5 Java applications stored in the phone's memory, according to the size of the actual application. The Nokia 7650 imaging phone can download many more applications, since it allows the user to store them in the same memory where, for instance, photos and MMS messages are kept.
